about

After causing carnage at the tail end of 2014 with Lamont's dark roller 'Far Away', Durkle Disco are back, with label stalwart Lojik stepping up to the plate for a first release of 2015.

Whilst Lojik’s previous releases have made a mark with their richly melodic, almost melancholic, 2-step sound, 'Saracen' and 'Day Z' see the Bristol-based producer step into darker, more dancefloor orientated territory, without sacrificing his distinct musical identity.

Early support for the release has already come from a diverse range of bass-music heavy hitters, with Zed Bias, Phaeleh, Amy Becker, and DJ Cable proving this release causes just as much damage on the dancefloor as it does through your headphones at home.

Rising star Majora (Sound of Sumo) steps up on remix duties, drawing on vintage UK funky and more current deep tech stylings to give 'Saracen' a house re-lick perfect for 2015 dance floors.

Durkle Disco Bristol, UK

Durkle Disco is a Bristol-based label with bass at its very core.
